吴沛东是加拿大McMaster大学终身教授,担任加拿大力学学会秘书长,曾任机械工程系副主任,是国际塑性变形理论领域的顶尖学者之一,在金属材料模型、模拟仿真、金属组织结构分析等方面有很高造诣,发表200余篇高水平论文,受邀做大会主题报告50余次。
报告摘要
Most studies on the mechanical properties of magnesium (Mg) alloys have been limited to uniaxial stress states. On the one hand, some mechanical characteristics cannot be revealed under uniaxial stress conditions. On the other hand, actual manufacturing and forming processes are often under complex stress states. We recently conducted a systematic study, both experimentally and numerically, on the mechanical properties of Mg alloys under complex stress states. These studies include plane strain compression, torsion, bending, and biaxial tension. Numerical simulations were based on the EVPSC-TDT model. It was found that the EVPSC-TDT model can predict the mechanical behavior of Mg alloys under complex stress states. It was also indicated that twinning, especially the competition between twinning and slip, are significantly different under different stress states.
